I can't wait for the new Zelda to come out. I've been holding onto my Gamestop reservation for months! it's insane, stop delaying and just set a release date already!
I've been delaying pre-ordering either this or the Wii itself in the blind hope that Nintendo will eventually do some sort of pre-order incentive as they did with Wind Waker pre-orders (the OoT: Master Quest collecters' disc) and other occasions I cannot currently recall.
In any case, I may be buying both versions of this game (Wii and GCN) for reasons twofold: first is that I am away at college and my sister and friends who will still be at home are left only with a GCN (since they probably won't spring as quickly for a Wii as I will), and second is that from Nintendo's news on the GCN release, it sounds like it's more a consolation prize to poor Nintendo fans than an equal release of the game (see: GBC version of N64's port of PS's Tony Hawk). I definitely want to do a comparison.
I pre-ordered my Zelda awhile back through my boyfriend and Gamestop, thinking about it and after hearing Nintendo's news on the GCN release I wanted to change my reservation from the GCN to the Wii. Being the Nintendo fan that I am I know for a fact that I will be purchasing the Wii quicker than I'll be getting my PS3 (which I don't plan on getting for awhile).
Finally, someone I can talk to about video games :)
You obviously don't go to a geeky enough school. WPI spoils me at that. Do you not even get VG geeks in Digital Media? I should think that major would be overflowing with Nintendites &such.
Well, i've been at UHM for years now, but only started in the academy of digital media this semester. I'm pretty sure when the semester starts this fall i'll find Nintendites aplenty.
